Mount Isa City Council said there was only a week left to submit your entry in their Mount Isa 100th Anniversary Celebration Logo competition with entries closing at 5pm next Friday, August 27.
Council said the logo would increase public awareness of the 100th anniversary of Mount Isa's establishment and will help promote the historical and cultural events and celebrations that will be held during 2023.
The winner will be recognised publicly and will receive a $500 Buy Local gift card.
The winning logo has the potential to be used on promotional materials, marketing and merchandise to coincide with the centenary celebrations.
