The official resale was due to open on September 4 but an update to Frontier Touring's website now says it has been rescheduled.
"Please note that the commencement date for Ticketek Resale has been rescheduled with a new date to be advised," the FAQ page on the website states.
"Fans will be provided ample opportunity to list tickets ahead of the tour."
It's another blow for Swifties after the race to get a ticket became a week-long event with just seven shows in Melbourne and Sydney for all Australian and New Zealand fans.
In response to fan queries on X, formerly Twitter, Ticketek Australia said "the final details for ticket resale [were] yet to be confirmed" and would be available soon.
Fans warned of scammers and scalpers
More than four million people tried to secure tickets to the Australian leg of the Eras Tour in the June pre-sales.
Fans who missed out were warned not to turn to unauthorised resellers or social media scalpers and to wait for the only official resale through Ticketek Marketplace.
Such was the demand that the Victorian and NSW governments issued separate warnings to potential scammers and opportunistic resellers.
A "major event" declaration from the Victorian Government means it is illegal to resell Eras Tour tickets for more than 10 per cent above the original price in both states.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The Eras Tour will be the pop star's first time in Australia since 2018.
Swift will be the first artist since Madonna to play three concerts at the MCG, on February 16, 17 and 18, and the first ever to perform four shows at Sydney's Accor Stadium, on February 23, 24, 25 and 26.
When contacted for comment Frontier Touring referred ACM to the FAQ page on its website. Ticketek declined to comment.
